Attention:  The Stratford Cat Project Is in Desperate Need of Donations

We are being overwhelmed with cats that need help. Since April 1st, we took in 50 cats. 4 moms with a total of 20 kittens. 5 kittens that need to be bottle fed. 14 kittens with no mom. 3 teenagers and 8 adults. We need help with food and supplies. We need canned and dry food for kittens (canned food Friskies turkey & giblet pate or Wellness kitten. Dry food- Purina kitten chow or Fromms kitten food). Supplies needed - paper towels, wet wipes, Lysol wipes, wee wee pads, and large black garbage bags. Hate to keep begging for supplies but the expenses for the cats that come into our care are astronomical. Donations can be dropped off at 85 Champion Terrace (on back patio) or can be dropped off at our tag sale that we are holding on May 13th at 1473 Nichols Avenue. You can meet some of our rescued kittens if you stop by. Thank you to those that dropped off food and supplies at our adoption at H3 yesterday. Hope you can come to our tag sale. You might find that special treasure.

Next Meeting

!!New Location!!

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

Wed, Aug 19, 2017, 7 pm

!!!!Attention: The Guild Has a New Home starting 7/19/17 !!!!

Hi all,
Finally,  I believe we have wonderful news!  Carol York, Pat Shea, Trudi Black, and I visited the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at 466 Elm Street in Monroe. Upon entering, I felt very positive vibes.  The space is welcoming and cozy. Ample tables and chairs are already set up.  There is an attached kitchen and the parking is convenient and well lit. We will be able to keep our same meeting night.  (We will give a donation to the church for use of their facility.)
Our July 19th meeting will be our first in our new "home." I hope the membership will be pleased.
Believe me when I say that we called between 40 - 50 places  This is a perfect fit and Carol, Pat and I all feel it.
I know it is a bit farther for some.  However,  it is about 10 mins from the Trumbull Library.  Anyone can get specific directions by going to their web site and clicking on directions for specific directions from your location. Considering that we have members from Meriden etc., I put in Lauren's shop address.  It is 37 miles, taking 42 mins.  To the Trumbull library, from Lauren's it is 31 miles and would take 36 mins.  Not much of a difference.
I am hoping that all will be able to attend the June 21st meeting at the Trumbull Library.  Sadly, it will be our last one there.
A huge thank you to Trudi Black who facilitated our finding the new location for us.  I can't say enough about this location, and am confident that Guild members will like it.
Warm regards,
