The Trinity Stitch

Cast on a number of stitches that is divisible by 4

Row 1 - Purl

Row 2 - (K1, P1, K1) in the same Stitch; P3tog across

Row 3 - Purl

Row 4 - P3tog, (K1, P1, K1) in the same stitch across

Cast on Even # of Stitches

Row1 Color A *sl1, k1; repeat from*

Row2 - Color A  Purl

Row 3 - Color B *K1, sl1; repeat from *

Row 4 - Color B Purl

The results are a nice little herringbone pattern.
